I think it's too early to put "dates" on them, as I don't have a really good idea of how much I'm losing a week yet. But I'm excited yay!! I guess my first big goal is 70 pounds by the American Idol finale. Yea yea, laugh LOL! But, it's probably the biggest and most fun event I go to every year, lots of my Idol nerds from around the country come and visit, and I get to see all my favorite Idols and I'm excited about it. That will also be about 5 months out from surgery..
I was watching through this ladies videos, very intersting! She lost 106 pounds in 6 months.
My ultimate goal is 123 pounds, that will put me at 175. Now, I don't know what I'll look like at 175 haha, but that is my goal weight for now. I will probably choose to lose more after that, but I'm not sure. Hell, I don't even remember the last time I was 175 maybe 7th grade? I think ultimately I'd like to wear a size 10 in pants. I think one of my legs would fit in to a size 10 now LOL.
I think my first non weight goal will be buying jeans that freakin fit! Lane Bryant I'm looking at you and your terrible fitting jeans. If you are skinny you have no idea how hard it is. I only own 3 pairs right now, and 2 of them are really bad quality from Avenue, I'm scared they won't last me!
Ohhh also! Zumba! I wanna try it, it looks like fun, who's with me!? Zumba Website
Anyways that was a lot of rambling, off to bed now!

I don't think you'll have any problem losing 50 more lbs in 5 months - you can do it!! :) Oh, and I know what you mean about Lane Bryant's jeans. Half of them don't fit me, and the ones that do are like $50 per pair. OY! They need to make a plus-sized store for women with reasonable prices.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Zumba DOES look fun, I've been wanting to look into that. It looks like a really good workout!
I just realized I suck at math, I was thinking it's 70 MORE pounds, 50 sounds so much easier hahaha.
ReplyDeleteGosh, it's not even the money at Lane, because they always have coupons, but they are just terrible lately! I got some at Macy's the INC and they were great, but like $80 and now I can't seem to find them anymore!
Aren't goals exciting? I am excited for you haha. That woman's video is amazing... wow 6 months most people lose that much in a year or more! I'm sure your success will be the same!
ReplyDeleteAnd I always set weight loss goals for the AI finale. I HATED how they always picked the skinny girls for the pit! But of course I failed lol.
That is a ton of weight she lost!! I guess if you are really focused, but still crazy. I guess if you break it down it's 17 pounds a month, but I can't imagine not having sometime where you cheat, or don't lose weight. I think I'd need more time than that to even accept that I'm not fat anymore.
ReplyDeleteHaha Kim, I know it's so annoying! At least it's less obvious the last few finales, when it was at the Kodak they'd go up and down the line and pick the hot people, that was embarrassing.
I know what you mean about Lane Bryant. Its the only place I can buy bras. I am really hoping I can buy them at a cheaper store eventually. I hate paying 35 dollars for ONE bra! And lets not even discuss a pair of jeans! Really 81 dollars! Ha, I know they need more fabric cause we are bigger women, but it should cost us and arm and a leg for pants. Congrats on your 20 lbs mark! I finally hit 30. I was so excited...and start to see a difference in my Bras!!! LOL.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
Gotta work those lane bryant coupons!!!
ReplyDeletei have the opposite problem, because my boobs are relatively small, they don't really make big back with smaller cups. I don't think 80 is that bad for a quality pair. They are very well made and thick material. The Avenue ones feel like paper, but they were like $25.
I want to shop at Forever 21, I want cheap clothes where I can try all the cool trends and it won't set me back much.
Hi Heather, just found your blog :o) I think your first goal is very achievable!! one step at a time is all the advice I can offer :o)
ReplyDeleteHave a great New Year!!
My dad's girlfriend lost 80 pounds in 10 months with lapband so your goal is totally doable!
